Editing Windows Updated

Windows Updated is a project created by [[IulianArian]], which aims to resolve the issue of having to install Windows Updates on a new install of Windows, by including the updates straight on the ISO itself.

== History ==
[[IulianArian]] started the Windows Updated project after he saw that a YouTuber which made Windows updated ISOs, started to lock them behind a pay wall. [[IulianArian]] seeing this started the Windows Updated project, which aims to update every Windows ISO that is no longer supported by Microsoft.

=== Early stages ===
When [[IulianArian]] started this project in June of 2023, he made the ISOs by himself. Everything was right until he stumbled across Windows Vista, Windows Vista doesn't really have a tool to intergrade updates and other components into the ISO. So, he skipped it! Focusing on Windows 7 and its editions.

=== The rehosting era ===
In February 2024, [[IulianArian]] came across 2 Windows 7 AIO ISOs on the Internet Archive, that had all the updates already integrated into them. [[IulianArian]] downloaded the ISOs, packaged them into a .7z, and uploaded them on Google Drive, the palce he used to distribute the ISOs.

Besides the 2 Windows 7 AIO ISOs, [[IulianArian]] also found 2 Windows 7 Enterprise ISOs. Along with 2 Windows 8.1 AIO ISOs, and 2 Windows 8.1 Enterprise ISOs, with all of the updates of course.

These ISO were uploaded with credits to the original authors.

=== The stagnation ===
Nowadays, Windows Updated is mostly forgotten about for being a project that requires a lot more work than [[IulianArian]]'s other projects, like [[BanatVista]] or [[OpenGeo]].
