  1. Searching and evaluating of a location: When a location with outdated or non-existent information is founded it will be put on a scale of 1 - 10 of how bad is the saturation.
  2. Sourcing the information needed: Once the location has been identified/selected, the search for information about it begins. This can be done through local knowledge, surveys, government data, etc.
  3. Editing the map: When there is concrete information about the location in question, starts the editing of the map.
  4. Uploading the edit: Once the edit is completed, it is uploaded to the OpenStreetMap database, where it can be pulled by services like Bing Maps.
