Windows Updated

Windows Updated este un proiect creat de IulianArian, care își propune să rezolve problema instalării actualizărilor Windows pe o instalare nouă de Windows, prin includerea actualizărilor direct în fișierul ISO.

Istorie

IulianArian a început proiectul Windows Update după ce a văzut că un YouTuber care crea fișiere ISO cu Windows actualizate a început să le blocheze în spatele unei plăți. IulianArian văzând acest lucru, a lansat proiectul Windows Update, care își propune să actualizeze fiecare fișier ISO Windows care nu mai este suportată de Microsoft.

Primele etape

Când IulianArian a început acest proiect în iunie 2023, a creat singur fișierele ISO. Totul era în regulă până când a dat peste Windows Vista. Windows Vista nu are un instrument pentru a integra actualizări și alte componente în fișierul ISO. Așa că l-a sărit! Concentrându-se pe Windows 7 și edițiile sale.

Era regăzduirii

În februarie 2024, IulianArian a dat peste 2 fișiere ISO Windows 7 AIO pe Internet Archive, care aveau deja integrate toate actualizările. IulianArian a descărcat fișierele ISO, le-a împachetat într-un fișier .7z și le-a încărcat pe Google Drive, locul pe care l-a folosit pentru a distribui fișierele ISO.

Besides the 2 Windows 7 AIO ISOs, IulianArian also found 2 Windows 7 Enterprise ISOs. Along with 2 Windows 8.1 AIO ISOs, and 2 Windows 8.1 Enterprise ISOs, with all of the updates of course.

These ISO were uploaded with credits to the original authors.

The stagnation

Nowadays, Windows Updated is mostly forgotten about for being a project that requires a lot more work than IulianArian's other projects, like BanatVista or OpenGeo.
